It's Back Up!!!

Dare I say "Finally back". Back back for real this time. Some might have known why I was away for a long time; it was too long, way too long.

For the benefit of those that didn’t know and just in case it is your first time stumbling on this blog. I lost my dad 3 years and 2 months ago and you never really understand loss unless you have experienced it and of course this varies with people. It changes you, it gives you a new outlook in life, and the process of grief is so real its unreal, your whole world changes literally and I cannot quite explain it but it does.

Quite a few people mentioned to me that I changed and I know I did. I cannot necessarily say I totally changed because I lost my dad; I mean change is one constant thing in life.  Anyhoo, I choose not to dwell on that today, because I could go on and on and that was not the purpose of this first blog at least. But I can say that my passion for writing wasn’t fuelled anymore; as much as wanted to, it seemed like I was forcing myself anytime I picked up a pen to write or even sat at a computer to type.

Thankfully, the writer’s block is gone; I have started writing again and hope to share on here as time goes by. Thank you to all the fantastic readers, friends and families that kept asking and encouraging me to start again. Someone said to me ‘of what use is it if you have a gift that you do not use’ and that made me think. Really one should (if you have gift(s) and I believe we all do) share with people and the world.
